Hello!
I don’t know about you, but I just love these Kokeshi japanese dolls! I have them on my notebooks, I got some foam stickers, washi tape and now I found a stamp too! 🙂 What a joy! And it is a full background stamp too, hihi.
So I had to make a card with these cute little dolls, right?:)
The card is very simple, did some basic coloring with Copics. Haven’t tried other coloring mediums but will for sure do, as the weekend is here!
After coloring all the images, I stamped some black stars here and there. Didn’t want to stamp them with colored inks, as I didn’t want to create too much chaos, lol! I stamped the sentiment with black ink onto a vellum circle and backed it with a smaller circle of colored cardstock. Next I added white dashed lines around the circle and my card was all done!
Would love to try a tone on tone background also and even make some wrapping paper with this stamp would be so cool!!
This was my quick project for today and oh, don’t forget about the GIVEAWAY that I have on my blog! Hope you join in!
See you soon and thx for stopping by!
Love your Japanese doll card. Where can I get the stamp?

Andreea, I love your idea to put cardstock just beneath the sentiment, under the vellum. Perfect!
