a new video from the watercolor technique mini-series! Today I tried some very simple coloring with my new watercolor markers, the Lyra Aqua Brush Duo.
These are such great markers with very pigmentated colors and I got the set of 24 colors for a very good price.
I’m working on the Canson Montval watercolor paper on which I stamped my flowers with Archival Ink, that is waterproof. This beautiful set that I am featuring today is from Altenew and is called Persian Motifs.
After coloring my images and trimming the paper like a million times, I finally decided which sentiment to use aswell as how to put together all the pieces I wanted to use. As a backing to my main panel I added some embossed vellum and also a strip of scalloped border paper.
Once again I used the Foam Tape Roll to add dimension. By the way, the great deal is still available on Amazon for this Foam Tape Roll. To embellish my card I added a bunch of sequins here and there.
I kinda see addiction around the corner 😀
I am entering this card in the Wednesday Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp blog where the theme for the week is
Here is a How-To video if you want to see all the steps I made for creating this card, and as always, the List of all the supplies is at the end of the post.
