Warm Winter Wishes MFT Color Challenge

Here is another great color palette challenge that I found browsing the MFT blog. The colors are gray, red, blue and green and I must say thay the projects of the DT are awesome! My favourite one is the card with the big vellum gloves, you should check it out 🙂 This die & stamp set goes deffintely on my wish list!

The layout for my card is quite simple, with big white spaces to recall the snow . Or at least that’s my impression:)

I used a bit of washi tape to add a bit of ‘movment’ to the background and I stamped and colored the image on a circle die cut. I don’t know if you can see it in the photo, but all around the edge of the circle I heat embossed some WOW! white puff embossing powder, that once it’s heated it swallows and dries puffy, like the snow.

I slightly colored the white circle die cut with the MFT Grout Gray Ink and stamped the trees in blue and green and then adhered it with some foam dots for extra dimension. To embellish my card I used some wooden stars and a couple of stickers.

This card is also available in my shop, just click on the photo for more details.

Oh my! The colors in the card are beautiful and the look on the winter fox’s face is adorable. Kudos on the puffy embossing powder.
